F. Mixon, and eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Shepard, departed this life at her home in Covington on the afternoon of March 27. She had been sick only a few days with pneumonia, and her death was a shock to our entire people, bringing grief and sorrow to the hearts and homes of all who knew her. She was a consistent and loyal member of the Baptist church and was a gentle, useful, loveable Christian lady. Mrs. Mixon leaves two daughters and one son, besides many relatives and friends to cherish her precious memory and lament her untimely death. Her remains were laid to rest in the family section in the city cemetery on Saturday afternoon. The funeral services came off at 3 p. m., in the Baptist church, being conducted by the Pastor, Rev. T. J. Swanson. This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.3 Kb
