The Enterprise, March 28, 1884
  Died 14th inst. in Covington, little Willie A. McNorton, son of Augustus
McNorton and wife, Malissa. Aged 5 years, 9 months and 2 days. Little Willie,
the bright star of the family, was truly a lovely little boy, the company and 
solace of Father and Mother, and hope of both. But he is gone. Diphtheria, that
terrible disease among children, did the work. His last words to his weeping
mother, just before he died, were "I want to go home and come on mama." May
God, who comforteth those who are afflicted, comfort and bless the sad parents,
and enable them to go to their precious child, as he cannot come back to them.
