C. Robinson, died in this city on the night of April 7. She was taken violently ill early that morning and physicians from Covington, Social Circle and Atlanta were called to her side, and did all that medical skill could suggest to relieve her suffering and save her life, but at 8:30 she breathed her last, surrounded by a loving husband, several relatives and many dear friends. Mrs. Robinson was one of the best and most useful ladies in this city. She was always first and foremost in every good and noble work. She was a loyal member of the Methodist Church and her mission on earth seemed to be to do good and make those around her happy. Wherever known she was admired and dearly beloved. She was in the bloom of perfect womanhood, being about 28 years old, and possessed a happy and cheerful disposition. Her death was caused from some kind of kidney trouble, and her illness was of short duration, as she was in fair health and fine spirits the day before she died. On the morning of the 7th she was seized with violent pains in her head, and soon became unconcious. The funeral services came off at the residence on Saturday, at 2 p. m. and was conducted by Rev. ?. A. Timmerman and Rev. Dr. Morgan Callaway. The body of Mrs. Robinson was carried to Washington, Ga., the home of her girlhood, where it was laid to rest, with her little baby boy, on Sunday afternoon. A number of loved ones from here and elsewhere accompanied the remains and attended the burial services. Her only sister, Miss Mattie Beal, who has been completing her education in art and music in New York City, was notified of Mrs. Robinson's serious condition and reached here in time to attend the burial. The tenderest sympathy of all our people go out to Mr. Robinson in the time of his deep grief and sorrow over the death of his beautiful and accomplished wife, who was more than all the world to him.
