Usher, died at her mother's residence in Covington, on Thursday evening, the 21st inst., in the 25th year of her age. This simple announcement will cause a tear of sorrow to drop from many an eye. Mrs. Thomason was a lady who attracted attention and gained friends wherever she went. Just in the bloom of womanhood she was called from earth away to heaven above. But the memory of her pure life will ever twine itself around the souls of her many friends, associates and relatives until they too are called to meet her in her heavenly home. She leaves three little children and a large number of relatives to mourn her loss. Mrs. Thomason was a friend to the poor, an ornament to the Church, and society never claimed a purer, brighter jewel than she. Her place can never be filled in the hearts of her affectionate husband and darling children. In her girlish days she was a pet and favorite in the school room and around the family hearth. A feather plucked from the wings of an angel and dipped in dew from heaven's own fountain and placed in the hand of an inspired spirit could alone write the epitaph of this lovely and estimable Christian lady.
