Mrs. Perry was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church, was a kind and affectionate wife and mother, and was greatly beloved by all who knew her, for her many acts of charity and kindness. She was a sister of Mr. Edward Heard, of Covington. She leaves a husband, children, and many relatives and friends to mourn her death. Her funeral was preached by Elder Wm. S. Montgomery, and her remains were laid peacefully to rest in the family burial ground.
