Death of Mrs. Josiah Perry
     We inadvertently omitted in our last issue to mention the death of Mrs. 
Josiah Perry, which sad event occurred at her home in this county, one day last 
week, in the 51st year of her age. Mrs. Perry was a member of the Primitive 
Baptist Church, was a kind and affectionate wife and mother, and was greatly
beloved by all who knew her, for her many acts of charity and kindness. She was 
a sister of Mr. Edward Heard, of Covington. She leaves a husband, children, and 
many relatives and friends to mourn her death. Her funeral was preached by 
Elder Wm. S. Montgomery, and her remains were laid peacefully to rest in the 
family burial ground.
