Dr. J. L. Rogers
     Dr. J. L. ROGERS, an eminent Presbyterian Minister, departed this life at 
his home in Atlanta, one day last week. He was pastor of the Covington 
Presbyterian Church last year and was beloved by his charge and esteemed by all 
our people. Sometime since he had a stroke of apoplexy and from which he never 
fully recovered. May he sleep sweetly.
