Mixon Smith Dead
  The many friends and relatives of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Smith in Mansfield,
sympathize with them in the death of their son, Mixon Smith, whose death
occured at their home in Atlanta last Thursday. The funeral was held here
at the First Baptist Church, Saturday afternoon, conducted by Rev. W. Lee 
Cutts of Atlanta. The over-flowing church and many beautiful flowers 
attested the love and esteem of many long friends for the deceased who 
was only 17 years old. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam 
Smith of Atlanta, two brothers, Linton Smith of Tampa, Fla., and Sherrod 
Smith of Atlanta; two sisters, Mrs. Stallsworth and Mabel Smith of Atlanta 
and his grandmother, Mrs. Henry Smith of Mansfield.
