Georgia Enterprise, July 11, 1895

  On July 3rd, Judge Obediah Seamons, of Conyers, died quiet suddenly of
paralysis. Aged 81 years. For 64 years this good man had been a faithful
member of the Baptist church. For 17 years he was Surveyor of Newton County,
and for the past 20 years of more, he had been Ordinary of Rockdale county.
Peace to the memory and rest to the soul of our dear departed friend.
