C. Salter Dead Mrs. Ada Salter, wife of Mr. W. C. Salter, died at her home in the southern part of the county Monday night, after an illness of ten days. Mrs. Salter had been in feeble health for a long time. She was 48 years of age and a consistent member of the church; a kind hearted noble Christian lady, loved and esteemed by all who knew her. Mrs. Salter is survived by her husband and six children- three daughters and three sons; Mrs. J. O. Weldon, of Oxford; Misses Georgia and Hattie Salter, of this county; Messrs. W. C. Salter, Jr., of Covington; N. P. Salter, of Mississippi; and Rev. J. B. Salter, of Sylvester. The funeral services were conducted at High Point on Tuesday afternoon.
