The Georgia Enterprise, April 6, 1900
     A cloud of sadness lowered over our community on last Thursday, ult, when 
one of our sweetest young ladies passed away. We extend our deepest sympathy to 
the family in mourning the death of their beloved Miss Fannie Salter.

A CARD OF THANKS
     Mr. and Mrs. Will Salter and family extend their heartfelt thanks to their 
friends and neighbors who showed their interest and respect by their presence 
and untiring assistance during Miss Fannie’s illness. Such kindness and warm 
consideration cannot but be warmly appreciated by the whole family and it is 
their will that the good people of their neighborhood whom they have not 
thanked personally, may be thus shown their appreciation publicly.
