WM. SALTER DIES SATURDAY
  Mr. William Salter, a former citizen of Newton county, died suddenly
at his Rockdale county home near Shady Dale church, Saturday night.
  Mr. Salter was 75 years of age and twice married. He was a member of
the Protestant Methodist Church.
  The deceased was well known in this section where he had lived for many
years. He is survived by four daughters and two sons. Funeral and
interment took place at High Point.
