The Georgia Enterprise, August 10, 1883
     On Wednesday, 1st inst., Mrs. Mary Sattawhite, who lived near Bethel 
Church, in this county, was struck and killed by lightning. Her little babe was 
in her lap at the time and escaped unhurt. She spoke to her husband after the 
fatal shock was received.
