T. J. SHEPHERD DIED AT HER HOME SATURDAY NIGHT AFTER FEEBLE HEALTH FOR NUMBER OF YEARS. Mrs. Grace Beck Shepherd, wife of the late T. J. Shepherd of this city, died at the home of her son, Mr. W. B. Shepherd, on Church street, early Saturday night at the advanced age of about 85 years. Mrs. Shepherd had been in feeble health for some time but her death came as a shock to her friends and relatives throughout the state. Mrs. Shepherd together with her husband who preceded her to the grave several years ago were long residents of this city and nearly every man, woman and child in the county either knew them or of them. Mrs. Shepherd leaves only one living child. Mr. W. B. Shepherd of this city, at whose home she had resided since the death of her husband. Mrs. Shepherd was known and loved by the people of this city for her many excellent traits of character and her ever readiness to do something for her neighbors. She will be missed by her friends and the public generally. The funeral occurred Sunday afternoon, the services being conducted by Rev. John T.
