Death of Mrs. SHIELDS
     Mrs. S. J. SHIELDS, an old and much esteemed lady of Midway, died on 
Friday night, Dec. 16, 1892.
     She was found dead in her bed on Saturday morning, and it is not 
definitely known at what hour she died.
     She was about 75 years of age, and was the mother of Mr. T. J. SHIELDS and 
Mrs. C. A. WANDER.
