He had been on the Police Force in Atlanta for some time and made a faithful officer. By _____ he contracted a cold which terminated in Consumption. He was in the prime of manhood and leaves many relatives and friends to mourn his untimely death. His remains were buried at Salem Baptist Church in Sheffield district, Rockdale County. A large number of people attended the funeral services, among the number being a committee from Atlanta consisting of seven members of the city police.
