Funeral was on Monday. Miss Myrtle Smith died at the home of her father at Porterdale Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. She was just 14 years of age and was a bright and attractive girl, giving promise of a splendid and useful womanhood when she was so early called. The funeral and interment were in charge of C. A. Harwell. The funeral services were held at the residence Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, and the interment followed at the Porterdale church. Rev. Mr. Kyzer conducted the services.
