YOUNG BOY KILLED
Tommie Smith Instantly Killed at Porterdale Yesterday Morning.
     Little Tommie Smith, son of Mr. Jim Smith, was killed at Porterdale 
Thursday morning. He had charge of a machine and came to his death by accident.
     He was fourteen years of age, and a very energetic boy.
     Coroner Brown was notified soon after the accident occurred and hastened 
to the scene.
     Little Tom was caught by a belt and thrown violently under the machine. His
neck was broken, but no other injuries to his body.
