DEATH’S SAD ROLL
     It gives us pain to announce the death of Mrs. J. W. Sockwell which event 
transpired at the residence of her husband on the morning of April 4th, about 
four miles east of Covington. She was a most excellent lady and greatly beloved 
by all who knew her. She was a kind, generous, charitable, Christian lady. Her 
home was her palace and she always made those around her happy. To the bereaved 
husband, family, relatives and friends we extend our tenderest sympathy in the 
hour of their grief and desolation.
