Sudden Death
  On the morning of Wednesday last, the 12th inst., Rev. Levi Stansell,
an esteemed minister of the Methodist church, died at his residence,near
Oxford, Ga., aged about 76 years. Rev. Mr. Stansell did a full day's
work on Tuesday, and after eating heartily at night retired in common
health. About three o'clock his wife was alarmed at hearing him struggling,
and on examination, found him to be dying.
  He was one of the oldest citizens of Newton county, and had long been
a very prominent member and minister of the church, having been formerly
connected, with the Conference, but retired from active service.
