Starr Mrs. Starr, wife of our old and valued friend, Mr. Silas H. Starr, Sr., of Starrsville, peacefully passed from earth to heaven, at the residence of the latter one day last week. A better, nobler, kinder more Christian lady never "wrapped the drapery of her couch around her and laid down to pleasant dreams," than was Mrs. Starr. She was loved by all who knew her, and her pure life and spotless character will be a rich and lasting legacy to all the dear ones who survive her. To the aged husband we tender our condolence and sympathize with him in his loneliness, bereavement and sorrow, but we know he grieves not as those who have no hope, for when he leaves this world of care and woe he has the blessed assurance that he will meet his angel wife in the spirit land where there will be no more pain or parting, but life, joy and peace forever more. May this faithful old mother in Israel rest sweetly within her grave yard home until the Master bids her welcome to a Mansion in the skies. At the time of her death she was 70 years of age.
