ARCH STEWART On Sunday morning, June 21, Mr. J. A. B. STEWART died quite suddenly at the home of his sister-in-law in Covington. He was one of the best business men in middle Georgia. He carried in his honest breast a heart that was generous, kind and true. He was social and companionable, always ready to aid any person in distress. Those who knew him best loved him most. Mr. Stewart leaves a son, two daughters and many dear friends and relatives to mourn his death and lament his loss. On Monday, 22nd, his body was carried to Conyers, his former home, and laid to rest in the family section of the city cemetery. Rev. R. J. Bigham delivered a tender and very appropriate eulogy on the life and character of our departed friend, and conducted the services at the grave. That Mr. Arch Stewart will be sadly missed, all of us well know, for he was a public minded man, energetic and progressive. May he sleep sweetly.
