R. Stewart, of Midway, died Tuesday morning about twelve o’clock, of Typhoid fever. She had been sick about three weeks, but up to a few days before her death she was not considered dangerous. She had been attending school, and the teachers speak in the highest terms of her. She was between 10 and 11 years of age, and a bright energetic child, and was loved by teachers and pupils alike. The funeral services were conducted at the residence Wednesday morning by Rev. T. B. Trenholm.
