W. R. Stillwell Rev. W. R. Stillwell, a prominent Methodist minister, died at Wesley Memorial Hospital, Feb 7. He was 68 years old and had been actively engaged in the ministry for over 40 years, serving charges in almost every section of the North Georgia Conference. Rev. Mr. Stillwell was first married to Miss Mary Speer, of McDonough, Ga. and their children who survive are Mr. J. T. Stillwell, of Montezuma, Ga., Mrs. R. E. Everitt and Miss Julia Stillwell of this city, Mrs. C. E. Riley of Elberton and Mrs. B. H. Mobley of Bishop, Ga. By his second marriage to Miss Kennedy of Virginia there survive several children, Mr. Will Stillwell of this place being the eldest. His death will cause regret not only by his brothers in the ministry, by whom he was so beloved, but by scores of friends all over the State. The funeral service and interment took place in McDonough, Ga. Of him it can be truly said, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant, enter thou into the joy of thy lord."
