Summers, of Louisiana, died at the home of her sister-in-law, Mrs. T. L. Anderson, in Covington, Ga., on March 23rd, 1897. She had been in feeble health for a long time, caused from lung trouble and came here some four weeks ago with the hope that this climate would restore her to health. She leaves a husband, two little children and many dear ones to mourn her demise. Her remains were laid to rest in the family section of the city cemetery in Covington on the 25th, in the presence of her husband and many friends and relatives.
