She was not only the pet of the household, but also of the entire neighborhood. So gentle, so kind, so affectionate, she was the favorite of all with whom she came in contact. Young as she was, it seemed that her wohle delight was to make others happy. Oh! how we all shall miss her fairy-like form, her ringing laugh, her kind loving words. No more shall we meet her in the school room, on the playground, or around the fire-side. She is gone from us forever; but our loss is her eternal gain. Let us try to meet her in the "great beyond" where there is no sickness, no pain, no sorrow, no death. That dear young head which languished, Like the flowers drooping down, High above the stars in glory Bears a little angel's crown.
