The Covington News, July 15, 1926
     Mr. Dave Tumblin died on July 5, after a short illness, he was near 75 
years of age, and had many friends who are sorry to hear of his death. He left 
behind him a good testimony which means so much to his friends and loved ones. 
We all know he is at rest and waiting for his loved ones to come to him. He was 
buried in the Pickett cemetery, Rev. Smith conducting the services. He is 
survived by three sons, Cal, Pat and Ruth and sixteen grandchildren.
