She had been confined to her room for some time, and suffered a stroke of paralysis one day last week, from which she never rallied. All that medical skill and loving hands could do was done for her. She was 77 years old and was a lovely Christian woman. She leaves besides her sister, Mrs. W. A. Skinner, with whom she had lived for years, one sister in Atlanta and a number of nieces and nephews. Her funeral was conducted by Rev. G. W. Tumlin at Starrsville last Sunday morning and buried in the church yard. A goodly number of friends and relatives attended.
