The Georgia Enterprise, February 26, 1891
     Mrs. Thacker, a most excellent lady of Hays district, departed this life 
one day last week. She was the mother of Mrs. F. M. Hays and beloved by all who 
knew her. Her remains were buried at Bethany Church, Friday. Rev. W. H. McMeen 
conducted the services.
