Death of Mrs. Joe W. Thomas
Born Jan. 8, 1878
Died Aug. 7, 1907
     In delicate health for some years, her illness did not become serious 
until about three weeks ago. With wonderful courage she fought against the end, 
loathe to leave her loved ones, but realizing that death was near, she accepted 
the call of the Master in a spirit filled beautiful resignation.
     The change for the worst came about three weeks ago, and the attending 
physicians told the family the end was not far away. When the end came it was a 
peaceful passing. Members of the family and a host of friends were present.
     Mrs. Thomas is survived by her husband and one son, and her parents, Mr. 
and Mrs. John  _. Thompson, and two brothers and four sisters.
     This good and noble woman will be missed by a wide circle of friends who 
have known her during her life.
     The family wish to thank the many friends for their kindness during her 
illness.
