Mr. Treadwell was about sixty-five years old. He was for fifty years a member of the Methodist Church. He graduated at Emory College before the war, and taught school many years afterwards. His record in the civil war was an excellent one. Mr. Treadwell leaves three children, Messrs. Will and Forrest Treadwell, of Columbus, Ga., and Miss Mae Treadwell, of Brazil, who has been a missionary to South America for a number of years.
