Mrs. Vandergriff Dead
     Mrs. Louesa Vandergriff, of Newton County, died at the home of Mr. W. B. 
Livingston Wednesday at the age of 80.
     She is survived by several children. She had been a member of the 
Methodist Church for more than 50 years.
     After funeral services by Rev. Mr. Eakes the remains were laid to rest in 
Prospect Cemetery, near Oak Hill.
