J. TOM WRIGHT Was In Louisville, Ky., When Stricken, Formerly Citizen of This City. News reached this city Tuesday of the death of Mr. Thomas Wright which occurred at Louisville, Ky., Monday night. The announcement was a shock to a host of his friends here, as for a number of years he was identified with the business interests of this city. Mr. Wright was a native of this county and has a large number of friends who will be pained to learn of his untimely death. Several months ago he left this city and since that time has been traveling for a large furniture house, being very successful in his new line. While in some respects he might have had his faults, he was known by everyone to be one of the biggest hearted and most whole souled men in the county and those most intimate with him knew him to be the most loyal of friends and a close comrade. He was a brother of Dr. J. A. Wright of this city, wife of Mrs. J. T. Wright, husband of Mrs. J. T. Wright, society editress of this paper, and father of Mrs. Samuel Green of Decatur, and Mrs. Harry Brooks of Washington. Besides this he had a number of friends in this city and county. As we go to press the funeral arrangements have not been made, owing to the fact that it was not known on what train the body would arrive on.
