PROMINENT CITIZEN CROSSES DIVIDE
ONE OF COVINGTON'S OLDEST AND BEST KNOWN CITIZENS SUCCUMBS SATURDAY AFTER
USEFUL LIFE.
  Mr. James G. Worsham, one of the oldest and most highly respected citizens
of the city and county, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. James H. Carroll
in North Covington Saturday after an illness covering several months with a 
complication of diseases, principal among which was heart trouble.
  Mr. Worsham was at the time of his death 80 years of age, and had lived
 all his life in Covington. His life had been long and useful, and practically
all of it had been spent as a loyal member of the Methodist church, a long
time of which had been with the Chapel in Midway. He is survived by a  wife
and six children, a number of grand children and other relatives and a host
of friends to mourn his death.
  The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the church in North Covington, the
services being conducted by Drs. Jas E. Dickey, Melton and R. G. Smith, of
Oxford. After the services the remains were interred in the cemetery in 
Oxford, in the presence of a large concourse of people.
