The Georgia Enterprise, May 22, 1874
  We are pained to learn that Mrs. Mary Wood, the highly esteemed relict of the
late Judge Carey Wood of Covington, died at the residence of her son in law, 
Mr. Wm. S. Gaither, in Newton county, on Wednesday morning the 20th inst. As
we have not the necessary particulars for a more extended notice now we have
the promise of an obituary next week.
