The Georgia Enterprise, June 11, 1891
     Rev. Dr. J. M. Brittain, of Atlanta, preached the funeral of Miss Mellie 
Wright, at the Baptist Church here, and conducted the funeral service at the 
grave, on the 3rd inst. Presiding Elder Bigham assisted. Deserved tributes were 
paid to the life and character of this good woman.
