CUPID’S WORK- MARRIAGES
     Mr. Charlie S. Jarboe was united in marriage to Miss Walter Atkin on 
Thursday last. Both of Snapping Shoals. The ceremony came off at the residence 
of the bride’s sister, Mrs. Losco Johnson, of Conyers. Rev. Dr. Quigg 
officiating. The groom is a prosperous merchant and a solid business man. He 
carries in his breast a kind and generous heart, and will make the life of his 
fair companion one of joy and happiness. The bride is one of Newton County’s 
fairest and most charming daughters. She is endowed with every qualification to 
make the home of her gallant husband a place of peace and contentment. We wish 
for them a healthy, happy, prosperous voyage all along life’s eventful journey.
