Carr-Jenkins
     Mr. Edward P. Carr announces the engagement of his daughter, Clara 
Cureton, to Mr. Bennett Crawford Jenkins, of Columbus, Ga. The wedding to occur 
on Wednesday, January 8th at the home of the bride.
     Miss Carr is the youngest daughter of Mr. E. P. Carr of this city and a 
young lady of many accomplishments, and is very popular in the social realm of 
Covington.
     Mr. Jenkins is a cotton merchant and one of the leading young business men 
of Columbus, and is quite popular in that city.
