C. Jenkins, of Columbus, which is to occur at the home of the bride on January 8th. Miss Carr is the oldest daughter of Mr. Ed P. Carr, formerly of this city, and has made her home with her grandparents here for a number of years. She is one of Covington’s social favorites, a young lady of many traits of character and loved by all her associates. Mr. Jenkins is one of the leading cotton merchants of Columbus and is very popular, both social and in business.
