The Georgia Enterprise, October 31, 1889
     On Thursday last Mr. Benjamin Reed was united in marriage to Miss Willie 
Dorsett. Both of Covington. Rev. Dr. Morgan Callaway, of Oxford, officiated. 
The ceremony came off at the residence of the bride’s mother, Mrs. M. A. 
Dorsett, and was witnessed by relatives and special friends of the charming 
bride and groom. The  happy couple left on the fast train for Florida and other 
points of interest. May peace and plenty, health and happiness be and remain 
with them now, hence forth and forever more.
