The Georgia Enterprise, April 19, 1888
     Mr. Charles R. McGimsey, of Cincinnati, Ohio, was united in marriage to 
Miss Emma Fowler, of Covington, on Monday last. Rev. Dr. Henry Quigg, of 
Conyers, officiated. The bride is a daughter of our friend and fellow-citizen, 
Mr. M. B. Fowler, and is a most pleasant and fascinating young lady, possessing 
every qualification to make the life of her husband one of peace, happiness and 
contentment. The groom is a gentleman of energy, character and ability, and for 
a long time did business in Atlanta with the popular firm of Chamberlin, 
Johnson & Co., but is now a citizen of Cincinnati. The happy couple left for 
their western home on the day of their marriage. May joy and plenty bless them 
all along the journey of life.
