The Georgia Enterprise, January 19, 1888
     Mr. Lovick L. Stephenson, formerly of Covington, was married to Miss Mattie
McGinty, of Athens, on Wednesday morning, 18th inst. The bride is a most 
charming young lady, daughter of the large contractor and builder, Major M. B.
McGinty, one of Clarke county's most worthy sons, and with whom Mr. Stephenson
has been in business for several years. The happy couple will spend a few days
of their honeymoon in Covington as the guest of the groom's sister, Mrs. C. W.
White. May life for Lovick and his sweet young bride be one long unbroken day of
perfect bliss and true happiness.
