The Georgia Enterprise, September  24, 1891
     Mr. Richard L. DAVIS, of Monticello, was united in marriage to Miss Mary 
HARGROVE, of Newton County, Wednesday, Sept. 16th. Presiding Elder R. J. 
BIGHAM, of Covington, officiated.      
     The groom was raised in this county and is a gentleman of worth and 
integrity. He is a successful merchant, being a member of the popular firm of 
ROSSER, HARVEY & DAVIS, at Monticello.
     The Bride is a most charming young lady, possessing every qualification of 
mind and heart to make the life and home of her husband happy. May peace, 
happiness and contentment bless them all along the journey of this life.
