M. Hays, was united in marriage to Mr. E. O. Leftwich, of Conyers. The house was attractively decorated with pot plants and quantities of cut flowers. The arch of smilax under which the bridal pair stood was prettily decorated with cosmos. The bride was unusually beautiful in her trim traveling suit of gray cloth and becoming hat of soft felt, with its long ostrich plume and Moline. The bridesmaids were daintily attired in white chiffons. The impressive ceremony was performed by Rev. J. A. Clotfelter, of Conyers. Miss Minnie Clotfelter rendered the wedding march in a charming manner. The attendants were: Miss Mary Hays, sister of the bride, maid of honor, and Misses Carrie Harwell and Langel Marks; Mr. J. H. Maddox, best man, and Messrs. Chas. Floyd and Carl Harwell. Miss Hays’ sweet manner and womanly qualities have won for her a wide circle of friends who will be interested to know of her marriage. Mr. Leftwich is a prominent young business man of Conyers, and is held in high esteem by all who know him. Immediately after the ceremony, under a shower of rice, the happy couple left for their home in Conyers where they will be at home to their friends at the Stewart Hotel.
