MARRIAGE NOTICES
     Mr. J. W. Sockwell was united in marriage to Miss Fannie Hurst on Jan. 
30th. Elder Wm. Adams officiated. The ceremony came off at the residence of the 
bride’s mother.
     The groom is a progressive and prosperous planter, is one of our County 
Commissioners and an upright, honorable gentleman. 
     The bride is a most charming and excellent lady, being endowed with all 
the necessary graces to make the home of her darling husband the dearest and 
happiest place on earth to him. 
     May peace and plenty, health and happiness ever bless this blissful 
matrimonial union.
