CUPID’S WORK, MARRIAGES
     Married, at the residence of the bride’s father, on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 
10 a. m., Mr. Robert Moore, now of Birmingham, to Miss Sallie M. Means of 
Oxford. On account of the very recent death, at the residence of  Mr. 
_____ Moore, of an ________ of the groom, the occasion was overcast by the 
shadow of the sad bereavement. The bride, as a young lady was loved for her 
many excellences of heart, mind and person; whilst the happy groom is a man of 
sterling worth and business habits. May he succeed in life’s arduous work, 
cheered, strengthened and blessed by the sweet influence of her whom he has 
chosen for his companion “down life’s rugged road.”
