ELLIOTT-SWORDS
  On Wednesday evening, Dec. 30th, Mr. J. T. Elliott was united in marriage
to Miss Nola Swords. Rev. T. J. Swanson officiated. All of Covington, Ga. The
happy event came off at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. W.
Swords, and was witnessed by a number of relatives and special friends of the 
contracting parties. The attendants were Mr. Charles Dennard with Miss Mary
Speer and Mr. Eugene Speer with Miss Nannie Pool. The bride is a lovely and 
popular young lady, while the groom is a gentleman of worth and high integrity.
Many handsome and valuable presents were given to the charming bride and gallant
groom.
