Smith-Sams
  At the home of Mr. N. P. Smith Thursday evening, Dec., 27th, occured the 
marriage of his daughter, Miss Nettie Smith, to Mr. Robert O. Sams.
  The marriage was very quiet, only the immediate families being present, and 
Rev. M. B. Sams, of Monticello, a brother of the groom officiating.
  Mr. Sams is a young man of excellent character and one of Newton's most 
enterprising young men.
