Cannon were married at the home of the bride's parents on Floyd street. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. John B. Gordon, pastor of the Presbyterian church, and the wedding march was played by Mrs. Jas. P. Sain. The bride's only attendant was her sister, Miss Mary Loyd. Her brother, Mr. Jesse Loyd, of Rome, was best man. Immediately after the ceremony the bride and groom led the way to the dining room, where the guests were served refreshments. At 6:30 o'clock Mr. and Mrs. Cannon left for a brief stay at Indian Springs, after which they will return to Covington and make their home with the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Loyd. Mrs. Cannon, as Miss Loyd, has been connected with Winder public schools for the past several years. She is a very popular young woman.
