Rev. L. G. Walker officiated. All of Covington. A number of relatives and friends witnessed the marriage which came off at the home of the bride's parents, on Floyd street. The groom is a member of the popular mecantile firm of Messrs. Heard, White & Co., and a most excellent and courteous gentleman, highly esteemed by all who know him. The bride is a daughter of Hon. and Mrs. L. L. Middlebrook, and a young lady of grace, beauty and culture. After the marriage the happy couple left in a carriage for the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Heard, in Brewer's District, where they spent several days. They will go to "housekeeping" in a nice cottage on Floyd Street and in a few days will be "at home" to their many friends.
