T. B. Trenholm, Miss Kate Allen was married to Mr. Jimsie Farmer, to the utter astonishment of their many friends, as Mr. Farmer was only home on a short furlough, he being a sergeant in the popular 3rd Georgia, which had been ordered only a few days previous to Cuba. Mrs. Farmer is the daughter of Mr. J. M Allen, of Midway, and has, with her gentle manners and bright face formed many friends here and elsewhere. She has an unusual grace and tact in entertaining, and her home has long been a resort for pleasure seeking friends. Jimsie was one of our home boys until a few months past, having held a responsible position with the Thompson & Farmer Lumber Co., and it was while here that he won the heart of the fair little woman who now wears the title of "Mrs. Jimsie." We wish for him success in his army life, and much happiness for the brave wife who awaits his home coming. This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.5 Kb
